I did use checkinstall since years with Suse. I know a person who got a
T-Shirt from his girlfriend, with the slogan:

make love, not install

Since I'm not using my old 32bit hardware any more, but my new hardware,
checkinstall for Suse don't work any more. A long time ago I was asking
for checkinstall in this list ;). Nice, I'll install it. Very seldom it
also didn't work for my 32bit Suses.
