Their web based deals are sometimes impossible to beat in terms of price. My DAW is in fact an older HP that I picked up for around $400 CDN a couple of years ago from them. The older 939 pin AMD64 works really well under Linux.
Having said that, if you are building a DAW it really does pay to research your hardware regardless of the OS. I learned this lesson years ago before I made the switch the Linux (buggy VIA chipset, AMD Athlon Thunderbird = painful Cubase experience).
