Hi Fred :) do you want to share all folders in /home? I wouldn't do that, e.g. different versions of Icedove can need different settings, that's why I don't share one Mozilla-folder for different Icedoves and Thunderbirds.
If you only wish to share the /home folder (partition), than you can give the user another ID, if you only can add one partition you also can add home to the "/"-tree. Happy New Year!
