Hi :) bit by bit I'm reading the mails I got over the festive season, I'm sorry if I write something that was written before. If someone is installing one user only, I guess he always will have the UID 1000. Even if he changed the user name, so if coping by using preserving options, there isn't the need to change the owner. I never noticed anything different when using several distros and especially shared folders for music data etc.. Happy New Year! Ralf
