Is there an reason to do it like this on Debian based distro's?

@Free, can you comment on this? Phasex does not build, and if I want to 
install a libjack dev package, the package manager want to downgrade a 
lot of jack packages in 64studio...

@ Ralf, it's better to use quotes when replying to a problem.
