Sorry for wrongly accusing you, Ralf. Mitsch confessed already :)

Anyways, on re-reading it: I did not want to sound that as harsh as you
might have interpreted it. Nothing Personal. It's just that if too many
users try things before they're ready; it could lower the good
reputation of 64studio.

IMHO this is not a topic for -users, but rather for -devel.
Users are not expected to fix system level issues and we should not make
it look like there is an task for them to do when there is actually
none: rtirq-init is automatically installed/updated with the new .31
kernels.

PS. We are still flattening out last minor bugs with the
2.6.31-multimedia packaging and discussion is still going on the -team
and -devel lists. Good QA takes time. If you want to know the details
join the 64studio-devel list :)
