Kia ora!

As a fairly new member of the Linux/64studio world, I have enjoyed reading this
list so I can glean anything that may be of use. I have to say though, I agree
with recent comments re the high volume of listings from one member.

As a newbie I have enough trouble trying to fit the linux/64studio/music jigsaw
together, let alone find time to enjoy it. I’m guessing I’m not the only
person on here for whom music on Linux is a hobby, getting more serious the
more I learn.

Over the 5-6 months I’ve been subscribed to the list, it “feels” to me the mood
has changed – newbies such as myself possibly read the myriad of postings from
one person who seems to be hell-bent on looking for problems, feel threatened,
inadequate or whatever and simply don’t post to the list as they see it as a
“techie” list. Maybe a “testers” list is needed or maybe this person could
begin their own list?

Having had my little bleat (baaaa!) I’d like to end by thanking the developers
and the 64studio community etc for building a rock solid product I enjoy
greatly, is reliable and gives me what I need without having to tinker too
much. It’s good to know that as I learn more and my requirements change,
there’s plenty more left under the hood. It’s also good to know there’s a
64studio community of help out there when I need it – I’d just prefer it wasn’t
dominated by the experiences of one person.

Cheers

Doogy
