If you install a kernel and it's source you can build ALSA independent of the used kernel version. E.g. you could use Quentin's kernel 2.6.29 and build latest ALSA drivers, by following the advices in the file INSTALL ;). You can build the kernel 2.6.31 by using my howto or use a kernel build by Gustin and then compile ALSA drivers. Btw. I've got the packages for x86_64 architecture. Do you need x86? Or is this Centrino a 64-bit CPU? As Gustin asked before. What version and architecture of 64 Studio do you use? If you don't know, post the output of uname -a It's better if you reply to the list too. _______________________________________________ 64studio-users mailing list [email protected] http://lists.64studio.com/mailman/listinfo/64studio-users
