The short short version is that I trust them the least of all of the vendors. I would buy a PC with Windows before buying a Mac. Having said that I have friends who use Macs and PCs for media production, so ultimately the choice should be one that is appropriate for you. It is nice to have this choice. I do hope you stick with Linux as the basis for your DAW.
