The IESG has received a request from the IPv6 over Networks of
Resource-constrained Nodes WG (6lo) to consider the following document: -
'Fixing the C-Flag in EARO'
  <draft-ietf-6lo-updating-rfc-8928-03.txt> as Proposed Standard

The IESG plans to make a decision in the next few weeks, and solicits final
comments on this action. Please send substantive comments to the
[email protected] mailing lists by 2025-06-02. Exceptionally, comments may

Abstract


   This document updates RFC 8928, “Address-Protected Neighbor Discovery
   for Low-Power and Lossy Networks” (AP-ND), by updating the bit
   position for the C-flag in the Extended Address Registration Option
   (EARO) and registering it with IANA.
