I had the knowledge that it was originally told to me that they would
not be asserting them against "any open source project".  I assumed that
ment "any", but in reading the links I provided you, it does not say
that, only "the open source projects that Novell ships".

Now Novell does ship a metric butt load of projects, so almost
everything you can think of is proabably covered, but yes, I know there
are other things out there in the world that are not in the distro (as
is evident by Gentoo and Debian's larger quantity of packages.)
