Hey guys,

Rob Kahawaii (cc:'d), one of the DB/programmer dudes who worked for of my clients, is wanting to get into Linux. I encouraged him to attend some LUGs with me and told him that we'd be happy to help him hooked on a distro (I suggested Ubuntu for him).

I told him that Linux skills compliment several of his other skills (e.g. DBs) and would open up lots more job opportunities.

If you guys wouldn't mind, drop him any newbie tips. (I'm basically gonna just have him come over to my house, install Ubuntu, install Automatix2, and then show him some of the basic command line stuff.)

Roger
