I considered 951Linux as a name, but I thought that was too large of
an area for a single group. Course I was new to CA and not aware of
how open everyone here is to commuting.

Well. It was in an act of short-sightedness that we chose "909linux",
considering that the 909/951 split was merely a few months away. Nonetheless,
that is what we did.

Looking at the future, we obviously don't want to be exclusive to just one area
code, and I am very willing to work together with any LUG or share ideas between
LUG's, work together for a nice online web presence, etc... and we might not
always be meeting "in the 909" :)

So, in my mind, I'm thinking of both. A) a name change for the 909linux group,
and, B) a way of collaborating with other groups.

My goal for a web site would include a wiki, so we could all maintain a nice
list of links for our helpful and useful sites, etc...

I don't have any specific plans or anything yet, and I think it would be a fine
idea to talk about it Sunday when we can meet up in person, if people are
interested.

Thanks,

David
