Every once in a while, a mail client will totally redownload all the mail from anotherwise perfectly working server. I've seen this across platform -- Linux, OS X, and Windows. Today, it happened with Entourage 2004 on OS X.
Anyone know why this happens? In some cases (like toggling your POP3 settings on gmail) it makes sense, but more often than not, it completely befuddles me. Rog
