Oh well, that's how you learn, right?!?
The plot thickens. I booted into Recovery Console (on the XP install disk) and ran "chkdsk /p". Now when I boot back up into the System Recovery CD, I can run "ntfs-3g /dev/sda1 /mnt/windows" and see all of my files ok. (But it still doesn't boot up) So....I'm now imaging my hosed Windows system partition before I play any more! Any suggestions?
