[909linux] simulating S-VHS on Macbook

An associate of mine just got a MacBook and is hoping to use it to
grab some movies off his plasma TV.  Apparent there is some sort of
way to do this with iLink simulating a S-VHS recorder.

Anyone have experience with this?
