I use WAMP in my lab. Its a similar project. Apache on Windows
basically. It came about after i had some frustrations getting PHP to
work on IIS.

Yes and no.

Yes - it is possible (and quite easy), as you know.

No - the company wants everything one hosted box for now until they grow.

It's the sort of thing that if I had my way and I had control over the
network and hardware, then I'd make one Linux box and one doze box.
But given that isn't the case, I'm pretty much limited to that way of
doing things.
