There is another parameter to take into account: real life, and
day-to-day necessity.
I wanted for years to redo the TeX distribution. And time has shown that
I was _really_ interested in it. It was on the stack. Always on the
stack. But priorities keep it not on the top of stack, that's all.
The money can simply not give interest in it---if this is the case, this
will be the wrong motiv---but opportunity to do it by increasing its
priority on the stack.
