As I wrote it will be for me a "course" since hardware driving is an
area where my knowledge is nil. I will learn where the border is
between machine dependent and machine independent; and for machine
dependent, what portion can be written in C and what has to be done in
assembly. I don't know how far I will go, but I'm sure to learn a couple
of things in the way...
