If there is a "user interface" for Plan 9, it is the namespace.
Anything after that is just decoration.

All rio does is provide a blue-green border and an rc shell to a namespace.
Lets me move it around the screen with other namespaces.

And everything speaking 9P means nothing is tied to being centric to anything.
I routinely have windows open in rio that incorporate stuff from
devices connected to raspberry pis, or wifi routers, or remote file
systems.

I also have a soft spot for the BeOS/Haiku interface.
A small tab on the windows and a button with a clock in the corner is
about all I would really want.
But I certainly don't want something that limits me to a single user
and the resources of a single computer.
