That is not the case, Go ships with an .RC script 
(https://github.com/golang/go/blob/master/src/make.rc)
I don't see the need to trash on the only alternative language one can use in 
Plan 9

(there are ports of `perl`, `python`, `lua`, but Go is the only language with 
proper upstream support, and also the stability required for development, and 
given its immense portability, we get access to the millions of libraries 
developed in Go without them having to be ported over to our niche OS of choice)

I don't see the need to start a language war right here, right now. Both C and 
Golang are complete programming languages, both are general purpose and can be 
used to do the same. From writing small single-purpose software, to server-side 
programs, operating systems (for those that will feel the need to dispute, see: 
https://github.com/mit-pdos/biscuit, https://github.com/icexin/eggos), etc.
