Hi everyone, the call for presentations and talks for the Chemnitz Linux Days 2026 (Germany) is out. This year (2025) we were able to connect three people from the Plan 9 community, and I was thinking it would be cool if we had an official presence there.
I was thinking about applying for a booth. For that, we need 2-4 people in total who can manage that. I was thinking it could be cool to set up a small grid there with a few computers (laptop, raspberry pi, drawterm) for demonstration, showcasing what Plan 9 can be today, including modern applications. I also asked a friend last year so we can borrow his "lego desktop computer" (which is a raspberry pi) which could be a little eye catcher. For that booth, all the information is on this page (German): https://chemnitzer.linux-tage.de/2026/de/programm/anmeldung/live It would also be possible to apply for a talk, though I can't do that. Afaik, the whole event is in German only. Let me know your thoughts and connect people who want to participate. sirjofri ------------------------------------------ 9fans: 9fans Permalink: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/Tb56d0ad01b8e190a-M249ed33110e712186147145b Delivery options: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/subscription
