So the question is really, what does plan 9 do better that people actually care about?
I know! I know! :-) Venti. I just sold Plan 9 services to our local set of linux users. Our dept. server (a linux box) crashed. I know, they know, but there were no complete backup for the system. It´s just so simple to manage distributed resources with Plan 9, that this is just the type of thing to sell. But anyway, going back to this thread of gcc/etc.etc. Isn´t p9p what you are seeking for?
