if you want somebody to walk you through it, you might want to try
#plan9 irc.  it probably works better for the
remote-robot-iterative-debugging method; i'm not being sarcastic.



okay, I'll try #plan9, but one more question--is there any reason that
deleting /sys/log/smtpd would break something? The file was getting
pretty big, so I deleted it. I know that on Unix, deleting a log file
shouldn't hurt anything, but Plan 9 is not Unix ;)
