I honestly don't think you need XP Pro unless you're in some form of small business/student who needs programs that the avg person wouldn't think of using. Remember, you will not get any manuals/support if you were to buy it from a site like that (well..you wouldn't really get support if you bought it from microsoft directly either) and there is a chance it could be illegal. IMO, if you are willing to take the risk, backup your computer, save your files to a memory stick/cdrw, and just download it from a bittorent site/IRC. It can also be illegal, but then again, you'll save $50. Of course, for the safety first members of the group... A-1-Computer Tech does not condone any form of illegal activity nor are they responsible for members actions/opinions. (that should be posted on the group home page) But first, visit Mircosoft's page and see if you even need XP. A study shows that 4/5 Microsoft users only need the bare minimum things offered (office, XP Pro, etc..) and are suriving off the basics (xp home, works..) ------------------------ Yahoo!
