So sorry about the terminology or lack there of. But are you referring to the 
card that looks like a credit card that slips into the slot on the side, or an 
internal (which means I have to open this laptop).

If you're simply going to use the wireless card on this computer and
it doesn't need to be portable, then you should consider an internal
PCI Wireless card, since you'd need to install the USB 2.0 PCI card
anyways, plus it would be less expensive to buy thing rather than two.
