Got the New Hard Drive installed right and the OS installed with minor problems. Computer runs great! Now I am just trying to get the modem detected. I had to install a modem (the part needed to connect to a dial up connection) but now the computer is not detecting the part. This is the only thing now that I am trying to get working so I can get the computer connected online. Have any suggestions?

If there is an HD inside the case 1. Make sure, BOTH, the power(lead with white connection) and, data(flat gray cable) cables are attached to the HD. 2. Turn the PC on to see if it will boot. 1. If it does 1. Then you should be in business 2. If it doesn't, you will need to 1. You will need to power up till you see something that says Press (F1/ESC/Ctrl-C, one of them depending on what key it mentions) to enter the System setup. 2. In the Setup, change the 'Boot Order' so, the CD drive is first. 3. Put the Installation CD in the CD drive and, re-boot. 4. Follow all the steps on the CD till, it tells you that it is done. 2. If there isn't, you will need to install one a. Physically insert the HD in the respective drive bay for, the size of the HD(3.5"/5.25") b. Attach the data and power cables to the drive c.
