Hi Matt
It may be a Power Management problem, try
Start>Settings>Control Panel>Power Management
Try setting the 'Power Scheme' to 'Always on' this should change the 'System
Standby' setting
(below), to 'Never' and see if that resolves the problem. There are two other
settings further down
for when to turn off monitor and hard disks but try changing the Power Scheme
setting first which
should show 'Never' next to the System Standby' setting.
The W98 PM settings are a great idea in principle but often caused problems in
W98. If the pc goes
into standby, in theory moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard
should restore the
system, but sometimes it doesn't and instead of sleeping it drifts into a coma
and the only way to
wake it up again is with a hammer ... err sorry I mean a re-boot ;-)

Hi all we have problem ,Okay computer was working fine the computer
was on all night than in the morning no signal coming from the
monitor so we turn the monitor off than on nothing also mouse and
kyboard not working and ctrl alt delete still nothing on the monitor
no beeps nothing computer fan is working and hard-drive working so
whe turn the computer off than on and its working fine !!
