And there are considerable differences!!

Windows? MS-DOS, v1-3.11, 95, 98, 98 afterthought, ME,
NT, 2K, XP and various subsets for cellphones, pocket
PCs and servers.

One thing about Linux is that you can use the open
source software, adapt it and create your own OS and
give it a name.

How about Ricklinux or Rickylux or even Jimmylux??
