Leave the jumpers at factory default or CS (Cable Select). Install the hard drive at the END of the IDE ribbon on the Primary channel. When you boot up, ignore the error message, and enter the BIOS SETUP. Open the Basic Configuration or IDE Configuration and select the Auto Detect Hard Drives, option, (it may be on the first menu, or both) Then select Save changes and Exit.
