You should have anti virus software installed on your PC but if that hasnt 
caught a virus there are several online scans for you to act as a back up from 
time to time.  You will find a good one at Trend Micro, one of the leaders in 
virus announcement:  http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ Another here which is 
most thorough but takes time to complete

Symantec http://security.symantec.com/sscv6/default.asp?langid=ie&venid=sym  
and dedicated removal tools for named virus here:
