I agree I have had great service and support for my Dell Inspiron 9100. Had 
to have the network card and battery replaced . I phoned in and had a 
replacement part at my door in less than 24 hours and they even made it so 
couriers picked up the broken parts right at my door. I bad thing that 
happened that I thought was kind of crappy was that when they built the 
machine they did not install all the proper drivers and let it be shipped 
with default Windows xp pro drivers which I found out about not long after 
it was shipped to me. With a dell tech(about 10 minute wait for tech to 
answer the phone) it took about 30 mins to find out what was going on and we 
installed the right drivers for everything and this laptop is awsome now. It 
also runs alot cooler than the toshiba's I looked at. When the time comes to 
upgrade to a better machine I will buy another Dell. As for a workstation I 
would never buy a brand name computer Dell or or any other company. I will 
build my own.
