Two possible reasons for this other than differences between the versions.
One, there are probably more people running the home editit. AND those who
choose pro are probably those who know more about managing their OS than
those who have Home. This is not a statement of fact, just a surmise on my
part. But I have read nothing from those who know that leads me to believe
that Home is more suseptible to problems.

I have never seen any such recomendatation that gave any defnsible reasons
for the choie.
