You can find your Windows files in the \WIN98 folder on the Windows 98 CD-ROM.
To fix the USB device issues: 1. Open the Device Manager, uninstall the items listed with yellow exclamation marks or under "unknown devices" 2. Open C:\WINDOWS\INF and delete the files relating to the drivers for those devices. 3. USe Add/Remove programs to uninstall the drivers. 4. Open C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and delete all the files. 5. Reboot with the devices disconnected. 6. Use the downloaded versions to reinstall the drivers, following the instructions carefully.
