Please define "test message" and did CJ pass the test or was cj just
being testy?

Personally speaking I find CJ ok because he/she does not interfere too
much and lets people here operate on a long leash. Tuna blotted his copy
book a while back and was dealt with but the magazine idiot is
difficult to deal with because he/she will continue to change his/her e
mail address. What the spammer has to realise is the fact that the more
he/she spams this list, the more members will develop a hostile attitude
to his/her spams so spamming this group will have a negative affect,
i.e. no one will visit his her site because they are hacked off with
his/her spams.

We need to adopt a strict A-1-Computer_Tech policy, we do not visit
sites recommended by spammers, which will negate their spamming
activities.

Now to the origins of SPAM, "Specially Processed Assorted Meat","Spiced
Pork And haM", "Specially Processed Army Meat", and "SPAre hAM"; there
are also some less-than-serious explanations, such as "Synthetically
Produced Artificial Meat" or "Stuff Posing As Meat". My own personal
version is Stupid People Annoying Me!

Another puzzle, is cj a man or a lady?
