That would be "yes ' to all. The MSN Messenger was the worst. It wanted Dial-up.

Also in Control Panel>System>Remote does the person requiring help have the box
checked "Allow
remote assistant invitations to be sent from this computer" ... and clicking
the "Advanced" button,
is the box checked for "Allow this computer to be controlled remotely" ?

cannot connect! He has configured his XP to allow Remote Assistance,
and nothing happens.
