Well it beats me but I have only ever used it once just to try it out it did work ok after I had given the necessary permissions. The usual problem is with firewall settings but I think you said you had turned off both fw's and still no joy? I would suggest that you ask one of the people whose pc's you can access to note down precise step by step instructions from the invitation through to successful remote access and pass these instructions on to the person who is having the problem to establish that the correct procedure is being followed.
