Recently I had some pc problems that I wrote about. The problems have been fixed but as a result, I reformatted. I run Xp Pro sp2. I always create a few directories under 'local disk c' when ever I reformat. Some directories that I create are temp directories for storing or unzipping particular programs - temp, temp 1, temp 2, etc. Well, I went to do this the other day and every time I try to create a directory called 'temp' the machine will not let me do it. It says that there is already a directory called 'temp' please select another name. I do not have a directory under c called temp! Why am I getting this error?
