I have just mailed to say I am having problems, again, probably server, but it has occurred to me it may be Yahoo doing things. Its predictable that when Yahoo is working in the background things don't work. What I am wondering is that, I know Yahoo is about to make changes to the photo section of each group, in the next four weeks or they may already be doing it.
I think the changes will be improvements:. We will all be able to see two sizes of any photograph, including screenshots; there will be a new large view. A moderator with privileges can also choose to moderate the group's photographs, in the same way that mails are moderated when a new member joins, as a matter of choice. There will be no opportunity to create sub folders within an album. Each album will contain an image, instead of the bland yellow we presently see. As I see it, this will allow Yahoo to go into any group and check for undesirable content and to deal with it appropriately; all groups will have exactly the same features. There will also be a New Photos page to make it easier to find new photos, which will display all the photos uploaded to a group in the last seven days. I'm not sure as yet whether this will be seen by members as well as moderators. You have received this as a friendly notification for the purpose, should it affect you.
