Hi Lonnie:
 
 The only thing I can think of  is to try and run your hard drive  as
the operating system drive in another PC and see if it boots up.
If it does you can sign in with your password and access stuff.
 
When you move the drive from one computer to another you may
get some unusual behaviors because OEM drivers will not be the
same.  I would try to boot in "safe mode" which uses a lessor
number of drivers..
 
If you have access to a desktop you can purchase a 2 1/2 drive
to 3 1/2 drive adaptor from places like Tiger Direct for about $8.00
then you can just unplug the 3 1/2 on the desktop and plug in the
2 1/2 and then boot up.  This is a no risk procedure and could  work.
