If you don't have an existing video card, I'd go for the GA-K8NE (nForce4)
This supports PCI Express and thus requires a PCIe video card.
Gigabyte also makes Video Cards. For basic needs there's the nVida
6200 256 MB TC model (GV-NX62TC256DS)[sub $100] which is fanless and
is a nice match to this board combo (nVidia/nVidia). That means just
two easy installations for drivers.
You can of course go to a higher end video card if you're looking for
more gaming performance.

This board also does not have a fan on the southbridge, (unlike K8NS)
which is a good thing as fans can fail or get noisy.

I'd got with the WD1600JD hard drive. This is the SATA version. The
JB series is IDE. The 160 GB is better capacity for your dollar as well.

NOTE: Remember that when the mainboard is replaced that you will ned
to reinstall / rebuild Windows XP.
