Thanks for the information. Tiscali did increase speed not too long ago.    I 
pull out the phone every time I get a call telling me I've won a holiday.  
Putting the receiver down doesn't cut those callers off.  However, I have tried 
your link and confirmed I ought to be able to get 2Mbps.    I am told I am 
within the range from the exchange, but I cant have SDSL.   It is possible from 
what I can see on the map that because I am close to a border which doesn't 
have ADSL that might be the reason for decreased speed, but I am continuing to 
press Tiscali.
