The proper KEYWORD for Googling was not accurately quoted.
The proper keyword is...... In place reinstallation, without
any punctuation or quotation marks. The most prominent link
will be to the Microsoft support site.
I should have mentioned also that the second stage of repair, Restore,
includes going to a restore point by trying to restart in Safe Mode
by using [F8] on reboot. Bye
