Personally, I can't understand why Theresa would want Eudora, Microsoft Outlook
and Opera all open
at the same time, they are all email clients and Opera a browser as well ...
AND with a big bunch of
windows open? In any case I think Theresa has answered her own question:

Opera would appear to be the problem but it sounds to me like a classic case of
just too many
programs running at the same time and not enough RAM to cope with them all.
There is a limit to how
many programs you can have open at the same time, depending upon how much RAM
and how much hard disk
space is available for VM. Is it really necessary to have ALL those programs
running in addition to
all the programs running at Startup? Try closing some of them when you aren't
actually using them
*instead* of just minimising them to the taskbar.
