Hi Steven,
Besides using spybot and ad-aware SE, I also use spyblaster (free) and of
course keep them all up to date. I very seldom get any spyware and I have done
some scanning online just to see.

However if you download something that has such then it will bypass
spyblaster. Which is a programme that will stop the spyware from going onto
your computer as I understand it.

I'm not as experience as others so I'm sure others will be able to answer you
more in detail. I just know from my own experience that if I disable spyblaster
and surf the same sites I'll get some spyware in. So with it enabled it saves
me a lot.

I also think that as long as there are people out in the world doing such
things I am sure there is no programme that will wipe out it all. For they
could only update what they see not what isn't there yet or that hasn't gone
all over as it were! Just some thoughts!

  Denise
