unless you are saying to just export your
favorites & save that as a file to the drive.

Hi:

You can copy your Favorites to a Photo card or Thumb drive but
if you try using them on somebody else's PC they may just open the
default browser on the machine you are connecting with.

AOL8 will install to a Photo Card (even if you have pictures on it)
or a thumb drive and will connect from any PC you try it on. So far
this has not worked for me with AOL9. It's nice to be able to take
pictures with your card and still carry your browser. There are
some Operating systems that you can load an run from a picture
card, ie. some Linux. I think there is one Linux made special for
memory cards. Also word processors.

I recently downloaded Internet Explorer 7 and it replaced IE6 on my
PC. With IE7 if you use the favorites menu from within IE, then IE
will go online even though it is not the default browser. If I click a
Favorites Icon from within the Favorites folder, AOL will go online
because it is my default browser. Also, all the Icons in the Favorites
folder suddenly changed to AOL icons. Within IE7 they appear as
IE icons.

One would need to experiment with installing his chosen Browser to
a removable memory to see how it works.

AOL has a new FREE browser called "AOL Explorer", which you can
download by Googling AOL Explorer, which appears to be more
interesting than IE7 and you can get FREE eMail with it. This is
apparently just an upscale version of IE. It should be experimented
with for ones own curiosity. Bye

Emile
