The system should prompt you like before when the battery is replaced.
 It's ususally F2 to enter setup from that point, otherwise its
usually the DEL key.
A phoneix BIOS may have autodetection enabled, or if it uses the 'blue
screen' style, its the first option then F10 to run detection.
Like you have the new style which uses a white/beige screen and F10 to
Save and Quit.  This one does not required auto detection to be run. 
Do however verify the settings you can as some defaults are not
performance optimal settings.  Don't forget to save once you are done.
