You will also need a Firewall, being behind a router fw is excellent but unless
you have it specifically configured, by default it will allow everythig to
dial
out ... authorised or unauthorised, which is similar to the XP fw. My advice
would be to download and install Zone Alarm Firewall, which is free and will
prevent any unauthorised attempts to dial out. If you install Zone Alarm fw,
remember to disable the XP fw as it may cause a conflict.

I just purchased a new comp, Windows XP Home and am confused as to
what virus prog to buy with the most security but user friendly with
the comp. I am behind a router firewall on DSL, any help would be
