I have to date used linux well without encrytion on my Belkin device activated, however, when the WEP has been activated on my reuter, when I boot into Mandriva 2006 I am presnted with "Welcome to Belkin, Username: Password:" the Belking reuter never required a username, for setup, which was done on a windows pc, it only ever needed a password, furthermore to my curiosity, I cannot log into my linux OS for a desktop use without internet access, I am not given the option for running the desktop on its own with no internet... Why?
