I have this computer which of course has a C sector &
a D sector (I guess you'd say a "Partition"), the D
sector was where I placed Items I wanted to save to be
safe if C crashed which it did once & when I did a
Format C: & reinstalled the D sector was still there
with all the saved information which was the Idea..
Now a few days ago I did a Format C: & reinstalled
win2000 but when all was done the D was gone? Perhaps
when installing win2000 I made an error? any
suggestions on how to retrieve the Info that was
stored on D? When you are going thru the installation
there comes a point when you are asked some questions
about partition & NTFS & FAT32 perhaps this is where I
erred? Could be the info on D is gone forever but
something tells me it is still lingering there
somewhere but how to access it?
